At Aurora Speech Clinic, we value a family-centred interdisciplinary approach to treatment. We offer Occupational Therapy services as a complement to our SLP services or as a standalone treatment. Our Occupational Therapist can assess, treat, and consult with clients about the following:

• Fine motor skills (i.e. handwriting, pencil grasp, cutting)

• Gross motor skills (i.e. ball skills, balance, coordinating movement)

• Daily living skills (i.e. dressing, toileting, self-feeding)

• Feeding (i.e. limited food preference or picky eater)

• Sensory processing (i.e. avoids or seeks certain textures or movements)

• Self-regulation (i.e. attention, impulsivity, emotional regulation)

We offer services in English and French, in a clinic setting. Home, daycare, or school-based services are also available within York Region. We offer competitive rates; our services are covered by most extended health insurance plans and are also tax deductible.
